The O’Leary Kraft Hockeyville committee will have volunteers stationed at the O’Leary Community Sports Centre this evening from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. to distribute the remaining tickets. It is the second and final pick-up date for tickets.
During the first pick-up date last Saturday, September 16, 64 per cent of the people whose names were drawn on September 12 for game tickets attended at the sports centre to pick up their tickets, and 47 per cent of the people who won tickets for the Ottawa Senators and New Jersey Devils’ morning practices also picked up their prize.
Tickets must be picked up in person; winners can not send someone to pick up the tickets on their behalf. A picture id confirming the winner’s identity must be provided.
There were 885 pair of game tickets and 400 pair of practice tickets awarded through the Sept. 12 draw and, going into tonight’s session, 318 pair of game tickets and 215 pair of practice tickets are still available.
The September 25 game between the Senators and the Devils will be played at Summerside’s Credit Union Place at 7 p.m. The practices will be held there that morning. Students from 11 western P.E.I. schools will be bussed to the CUP to attend the practices.
