The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission left prices unchanged for gas, diesel, propane, furnace or stove oil at its scheduled mid-month petroleum pricing adjustment.
“Current market conditions allow for the continuance of existing prices,”states the commission.
Prices for regular, unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will continue to range from 106.8 cents per litre to 108.0. That’s among the highest price in the region, according to www.gasbuddy.com. According to the crowdsourcing gas price website, the average price of gas in Nova Scotia is 104.5 cpl, and the New Brunswick average is 105.1 cpl.
The commission’s next scheduled price adjustment will be June 1.
