SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. - Islanders may be itching to start planting and pruning their gardens with the rising of temperatures, but it may be a good idea to hold off for another week.

A frost advisory has been issued by Environmental Canada for all of P.E.I. Monday.

The weather agency says there will be a “mix of sun and cloud this afternoon,” followed by a light wind, with a “patchy frost” this evening.

For some plants and crops, frost may be too much to handle.
