Fourth person arrested in relation to Stratford and Borden-Carleton home invasions

The incidents happened Saturday in Stratford and Borden-Carleton.

The man arrested Tuesday has been connected to the Borden-Carleton incident.

He and his three co-accused are scheduled to appear in provincial court in Summerside Wednesday.

According to police, on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., a man and woman entered a residence in Stratford and robbed the male resident of a quantity of cash. The victim was also struck with a metal object, suffering minor injuries.

Police say the female suspect was known to the victim. The male suspect covered his face with a hoodie or bandana during the attack.

Queens District RCMP attended at the scene and began an investigation.

Later the same day, at around 11 p.m., two men and a woman entered a residence in Borden-Carleton and assaulted several of the occupants. At least two of the victims were struck with a baseball bat.

Again, police say some of the victims and assailants were known to each other.

A male victim suffered minor injuries to his head and face, while a second male victim suffered a minor injury to his hand.

East Prince RCMP attended the scene along with investigators of the Major Crime Unit.

Members of the RCMP, the Police Dog Service and Major Crime Unit, with assistance from Summerside Police Services, located and arrested three suspects in Summerside in relation to the Borden-Carleton incident.

Following the arrest, the RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence in Summerside in search of evidence to support the offences.

The following charges have been sworn in relation to the incident in Borden. The fourth accused has not yet been identified.

Harrison William Snow, 26, of Summerside:

1) Break and enter and commit assault with a weapon

2) With the intent to commit an indictable offence did have his face masked

3) Possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence

Joshua James Jenkins, 27, of Summerside

1) Break and enter and commit assault with a weapon

2) With the intent to commit an indictable offence did have his face masked

3) Possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence

Jacqueline Veronica Richard, 26, of Summerside

1) Break and enter and commit assault with a weapon

2) With the intent to commit an indictable offence did have his face masked

3) Possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence

The three arrested have been remanded into custody for a hearing in Summerside Provincial Court on Wednesday.

The Major Crime Unit is continuing its investigations into both incidents. Anyone with information on either matter is asked to contact their local RCMP detachment.
