Driver on Sunday blows three times limit, Charlottetown police allege

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Charlottetown Police Services received a complaint Sunday evening at 8:28 p.m., about a possible drunk driver on University Avenue.

Police patrolled the area, found the suspect vehicle, and took the driver in for a breath test.

The police department says in a report that he blew in excess of three times the legal amount of alcohol in his blood.

The accused man will be appearing in Provincial Court at a later date.
