COURT: Summerside man sentenced

Richard Abram Almeda, 31, of Summerside, has been found guilty of having control of a motor vehicle while also having a blood alcohol level above the legal limit.

SUMMERSIDE – Richard Abram Almeda, 31, of Summerside, has been found guilty of having control of a motor vehicle while also having a blood alcohol level above the legal limit.

The charge is from April 7 in Summerside.

Almeda was sentenced to serve three days in jail and 12 months of probation. He is also prohibited from driving for 12 months and must pay a $100 victim surcharge.
