SUMMERSIDE – A car caused minor damage to a home on Sheen Street in Summerside, Friday.
Summerside police officers on patrol around 10 a.m. noticed a vehicle without a license plate and tried to stop it. The car turned into a residential driveway, slid on some ice and hit the house.
The driver, a 28-year-old, Summerside man was arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving with a suspended license.
Police allege the man’s breath samples came back at three times the legal limit.
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in custody at a later date.
