Advancing Island Connections West is coming to Summerside on June 22, serving as the official launch of the PEI Connectors Program in the area.
The event will allow entrepreneurial newcomers and other investors to learn first-hand about business purchase and investment opportunities in Prince County.
“Hosting an event like Advancing Island Connections West is an effective way to welcome newcomers into our business community and present them with practical, concrete business opportunities here in Prince County,” said Wayne Carew, board member of both Island Advance and PEI Connectors, and President of Confederation M&A.
“Based on the response in Charlottetown the past two years, the event is filling a need within the business community.”
The event will feature the Business Opportunities Showcase and Tradeshow, where business owners and entrepreneurs will presenT opportunities for business purchase or investment and allow one-on-one discussions with business owners.
In addition Norman Zeledon, owner of the food truck The Galley, will share his story about coming to the Island and starting his own business in Summerside.
“It took risk, but there’s no better reward than watching my customers take their first bite and discussion new foods and flavours,” said Zeledon.
The event is free with registration required.
