Break and theft from Stratford home

STRATFORD – Thieves broke into a Reeves Estate home in Stratford as homeowners slept upstairs, early Monday morning.

Stratford RCMP said thieves took personal property and did minor damage to the residence.

RCMP said the victims were not harmed during the crime and the suspect is known to police.

RCMP assured the public there is no immediate concern for public safety. The suspect is known to have left the province.

The investigation is continuing with charges are pending.

RCMP are reminding everyone to lock doors to residences and vehicles as a deterrent to criminals.
