With rain in the forecast for this evening, Wednesday, the Acadian Day festivities, which were scheduled for Tignish, have been moved indoors to au Cente acadien de Prince-Ouest, the Acadian cultural Centre in Deblois. The free program, which gets underway at 6 p.m. is organized by the Town of Tignish and le Conseil Rév. S.-É.-Perrey inc. Entertainers include Monique Pendergast Doucette, Victor and Cathy Doucette and Steven Perry. There will inflatables, face painting and treats for children.
