Oyster Festival crowns Robyn Doran

Robyn Doran is crowned the 50th Miss Tyne Valley Oyster Pearl by the 2013 queen, Danielle WIlliams. On hand for the ceremony are, from left, first runner-up Caitlin MacLennan, Kenley Noye, the pageant's flowr girl, and second runner-up Ellen MacLean. Doran also won Miss Photogenic and Miss Talent, MacLennan was named Miss Fashion and Carlie Lynch was chosen Miss Friendship.

Eighteen year-old Robyn Doran is the queen of the 50th annual Tyne Valley Oyster Festival. Representing Northam, she was chosen Miss Oyster Pearl Sunday evening at the conclusion of the 2014 Oyster Festival. 

Prior to Doran's crowning, the 49 queens who preceded her to the throne were introduced, and 34 of them were in attendance for the special milestone event.
