RCMP arrest man on outstanding warrants, find drugs and cash

SUMMERSIDE  – Prince County RCMP arrested a man Monday who was wanted on various warrants and ended up finding a large quantity of drugs and cash.

Members of the Prince District JFO Drug Section stopped the man’s car in the Linkletter Campground in Linkletter at 10:15 p.m.

The male driver was arrested on outstanding warrants and charged with refusing a breathalyzer demand.

The driver and a female passenger are expected to be charged with possession of stolen property, and possession of prescription pills, methamphetamine and marijuana for the purpose of trafficking

Both of the accused are being held in custody pending further investigation.
