SPRINGVALE — Two people escaped serious injury before their vehicle went up in flames following an accident Tuesday morning in Springvale.

The accident happened at around 10:45 a.m.

Queens District RCMP responded to the single-vehicle collision, which took place on Route 2 near the Silver Bell Christmas Tree Farm.

The panel van was west bound in the Springvale area when the driver lost control.  As a result the vehicle rolled and then caught fire.
