MONT-CARMEL - A lineup of artists are set to take the stage at Mont-Carmel Parish Hall on Sunday, July 13, for the second in the series of summer concerts.
The show, presented by the Coopérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel, will star Max Keenlyside, Shaun LeBlanc, Louise Arsenault and the Joe Narcisse family.
For the fifth consecutive summer Keenlyside will participate in the event. The 22-year-old pianist has performed during the opening ceremony of the Canada Games in 2009, and in 2010 he released his first recording, titled “KeenlyStride.”
LeBlanc is a singer-songwriter from New Brunswick with a piano background from the Royal Conservatory of Music. He was recently selected as the Emerging Artist of Year and had the Solo Recording of the Year at the 2013 Music New Brunswick Awards Gala.
Also scheduled to perform is fiddler Louise Arsenault, accompanied by the Joe Narcisse family. Arsenault will also provide the fiddle tunes for the dancers.
The festival, which sees a concert each Sunday during the summer, goes until Aug. 24.
The July 13 concert begins at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
