CENTRAL BEDEQUE - Winds gusting just over 100 kilometres per hour have been falling trees, breaking off branches and causing brief power outages in eastern Prince County.

Power is still on in Prince County despite brief interruptions in electricity overnight and Saturday morning.

Some trees and branches have blown down in the Bedeque area as well as other parts of the Island, causing some power outages. Crews are out clearing away the debris.
