SUMMERSIDE - École-sur-Mer will be alive with the sound of music this week.

The school will be performing “The Sound of Music” in French from Tuesday, June 17 until June 19. The public can purchase tickets at the door for Wednesday and Thursday evening for $5 and $2 for children ages 13 and under.

Lily Gallant is a Grade 8 student and this isn’t the first time she has taken on a role at the school.

“I love theatre. It’s one of my favourite things to do.”

Being a part of this musical is fun because it’s a classic, she said.

“Everyone seems to know “The Sound of Music.” Come see it because it will great.”
