Home delivery of Journal Pioneer delayed until Friday

Journal office will be opening late

Published on March 26, 2014

Delivery of Thursdays's print-edition of The Journal Pioneer will be carried out with Friday's paper.

The decision is necessary because of dangerous road conditions and RCMP warnings to stay off the roads.

City crews have the main arteries cleared but many side streets and most areas outside of the city remain impassable due to drifting snow and whiteout conditions.

Also, the business office of the Journal will be late opening. Customers are urged to call ahead before visiting.

Journal Pioneer subscribers are reminded they can receive a complete electronic or e-edition of The Journal Pioneer delivered daily to their desktop computer at no extra charge. The e-edition is not impacted by the weather.

The Journal Pioneer’s website is always updated 24/7.
