More speakers confirmed for 50 plus entrepreneur forum

WOODSTOCK -- Bill and Mary Kendrick, operators of  Experience P.E.I. and Ron Robichaud of Happy Entrepreneur Consulting will be keynote speakers for the 50+ Entrepreneur Forum CBDC West Prince Ventures is hosting March 19 at the Rodd Mill River Resort.

Two other keynote speakers, Bruce MacNaughton and Patrick Ledwell, were announced earlier.

The forum, funded by Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, the Rural Action Centre, CBDC Central P.E.I. and Innovation PEI, seeks to help perspective entrepreneurs 50 and older how to create opportunities and new beginnings.

The Kendricks are the Island’s leading provider of experiential tourism activities designed to provide visitors with a hands-on opportunity to connect with interesting islanders doing interesting things.  In 2013 Experience PEI was recognized by the Tourism Industry Associaition of Canada as one of Canada’s top three small tourism businesses. They were in their mid-50s when they started the business. They also operate Briarcliffe Inn.

They currently offer two dozen experiences, ranging from oyster fishing, clam-digging, sand sculpting, caring for a race horse and creating jewellery form beach glass.

Robichaud is a successful entrepreneur, author and business coach. The owner of Happy Entrepreneur Consulting has more than 30 yeaers experience in operations, finance, small business management and Community development. He has developed and delivered a wide range of small business workshops to thousands of participants across Canada and internationally.

In addition to his keynote address, Robichaud will be running a workshop during the March 19 forum.
