SUMMERSIDE – Stretch Fitness Studio was featured in the September/October issue of Fitness Business Canada magazine.

“This is a national magazine for fitness business owners and managers with subscribers and shelf space across the country," said owner Cory Arsenault. “We were getting messages that people as far away as British Columbia were seeing the issue.”

Stretch Fitness was featured on the cover, and in an in depth two-page story that focused on the financial success and the methods used in achieving that success.

“We were contacted in late summer by the magazine owners,” Arsenault said. “They had been aware of our business success and were eager for us to detail to their subscribers the marketing, sales and systems used to operate our centre.”

Arsenault said the centre outlined its focus on weight loss and a non-intimidating environment and how monitoring from leading fitness professionals from around the world helped the business overcome adversity.

“Having access to up to sate research on industry trends allowed us to stay at the top of our game,” Arsenault said.

Fitness instructor Krista Hickey was featured on the front cover of the magazine.

“My two former students found the magazine in their gym in Calgary and immediately contacted me,” she said. “And two of my friends were in the airport in Toronto and looked over and saw my face on the magazine rack. They called me very excited and told me they bought all the issues.”
