Woman pleads guilty to theft  

An O’Leary woman has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of theft under $5,000 and breaching probation.

The incidences were between June and December 2017.

Tammy Lee Lannon was sentenced to one-month concurrent sentence subject to terms of the conditional sentence and 12 months probation. She must pay a victim surcharge of $400.

Summerside man pleads guilty to impaired driving

Jonathan Charles Strongman has pleaded guilty to driving while impaired with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.

The incident occurred on Nov. 18.

He was fined $1,000 and must pay a $300 victim surcharge. He was sentenced to three days imprisonment and a 12-month driving prohibition.

Rayner pleads guilty to impaired driving

A Wilmot Valley man has pleaded guilty to impaired driving with a blood alcohol count of over the legal limit.

The incident occurred on Dec. 1, 2017.

Weston Arthur Rayner, 51, appeared in Summerside Provincial Court on Jan. 18.

He was fined $1,300 and must pay a $390 victim surcharge. He was sentenced to five days intermittent imprisonment and probation until sentence is served. He is also subject to a 12 month driving prohibition.

Guilty plea for possession of methamphetamine

A 37-year-old man has pleaded guilty to drug possession.

Joshua Joseph Myles Longuepee of Summerside pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine on or about Nov. 9, 2017. He was fined $500 and must pay a $150 victim surcharge.

O’Leary woman sentenced

A woman has pleaded guilty to mischief with the intent to mislead.

Melissa Ann MacDougall of O’Leary appeared in Summerside Provincial Court recently for a June 6 incident.

MacDougall pleaded guilty to mischief with intent to mislead a peace, a member of the RCMP officer by making a false statement that accused a man of having committing assault.

She was sentenced to four days intermittent imprisonment, 12 months probation and must pay a $200 victim surcharge.

Man pleads guilty

A man has pleaded guilty to impaired driving with blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.

Hing Xu Sham of Summerside was fined $1,000 and must pay a victim surcharge of $300 for the Dec. 3 incident.

He was sentenced to three days imprisonment.

Vincent sentenced

Richard Clifford Vincent, 56, of Woodvale has pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm for a purpose dangerous to the public.

The charge is from April 9 in Woodvale.

Vincent received a suspended sentence, must serve 18 months of probation and pay a $100 victim surcharge.

He was also issued a forfeiture order for items related to the case, as well as a firearms prohibition order.
