Author Donna Gallant reads from her book “The Shoe Doctor James T. Robbie Burns Gala 2018
Saturday, 6:30 p.m., Consolidated Credit Union Place, Summerside

The College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada will host a celebration of the life and works of Robbie Burns at the annual Robbie Burns Fundraising Gala. The funds raised from this event will go towards the operational expenses of the college. The seventh annual gala features a Scottish ceilidh with students and faculty performing traditional and contemporary choreographies, the music of Robbie Burns along with piping, drumming, fiddling and dancing. A three-course roast beef dinner, with haggis, will be served.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Toronto Dance Theatre

Dancers The Globe and Mail calls some of the best on the planet. Over the past five decades, Toronto Dance Theatre (TDT) has produced an exceptional body of original Canadian choreography and had a major impact on the development of national dance audiences.
