COURT: Summerside man sentenced for assault

SUMMERSIDE – Mitchel Joseph Clements, 23, of Summerside has pleaded guilty to one count of assault and one count of failing to appear in court as required

The charges are from Dec. 31, 2017, and March 8, 2018, in Summerside.

Clements was sentenced to serve eight days in jail and 12 months of probation. He must also pay a $100 victim surcharge.
