Greenan sentenced

A 40-year-old Island woman has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of fraud, failure to attend court, possession of stolen property, failure to comply with an appearance order, uttering fraudulent cheques and fraudulently obtaining food.

Jennifer Rose Greenan, of no fixed address, appeared in Summerside Provincial Court on Monday.

She will serve 45 days in jail and must pay a $900 victim surcharge.

Gallant pleads guilty

David Timothy Gallant, of Summerside, has pleaded guilty to one count of theft from a local grocery store.

The 44-year-old man appeared before the courts recently for the Feb. 26 incident where merchandise from the Atlantic Superstore, not exceeding the value of $5,000, was stolen.

Gallant was given seven days intermittent imprisonment, 12 months of probation and must pay a $100 victim surcharge.

Gallant also pleaded guilty to a second incident of theft not exceeding $5,000, which occurred on March 1.

He must pay a $100 victim surcharge, complete 12 months of probation and serve 14 days consecutive-intermittent imprisonment.

Arsenault pleads guilty

Courtney Marie Arsenault has pleaded guilty to failure to comply to a probation order.

The order was from March 31, 2016 to May 31, 2018.

The 30-year-old of Summerside was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $839 but failed to comply with the order from Judge Jeffrey Lantz.

She must pay a $100 victim surcharge, serve seven days intermittent imprisonment and 12 months of probation.

Breach of probation plea

Kyle Christopher Cook, of O’Leary, has pleaded guilty to failure to comply to a probation order.

Cook, 32, was ordered by Judge Jeffery Lantz on Oct. 19, 2017, to be under the supervision of a probation officer and report in person to a probation officer.

But Cook failed do to so between Jan. 5 and March 14.

He must serve five days intermittent imprisonment and 12 months of probation, plus pay a $100 victim surcharge.

Jarl pleads guilty to assault

A Clinton woman has pleaded guilty to assault.

Jessica Jarl, 20, appeared in Summerside Provincial Court recently to answer to an assault charge from April.

She pleaded guilty to assault of Joshua Zink, which occurred on April 14.

She was sentenced to 18 months of probation and must pay a $100 victim surcharge.

Man pleads guilty to breach of undertaking

Melvin Louis Gallant, of Summerside, has pleaded guilty to breach of undertaking.

The incident occurred on March 18.

The 56-year-old man was fine $500 and must pay a $100 victim surcharge.

Arsenault pleads guilty to failure to comply

Brodi Pierre Arsenault, of Seacow Pond, pleaded guilty recently to failure to comply with a probation order.

The order was made by Judge Jefferey Lantz in January. Arsenault was ordered to refrain from associating with such persons his probation order considered appropriate.

He was fine $400 and must pay a $120 victim surcharge.
