Charlottetown Harbour watercraft collision victim identified as Carter Michael Wood

The 29-year-old Mount Herbert man who died after spending a week in hospital in Moncton with a head injury has been identified.

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The young man killed in a personal watercraft collision off of Charlottetown Harbour on Sunday has been identified.

Carter Michael Wood, 21, of Cherry Valley died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after the watercraft (also called a Sea Doo) he was operating collided with another.

The collision is under investigation by the RCMP.

Wood is survived by his mother Jo-Anne Wood.

Visitation is Friday 5-8 p.m. at the Belvedere Funeral Home in Charlottetown.
