The Public Schools Branch has issued a notice about activities at Island schools today.
“In light of the forecast and expected weather and travel conditions throughout the province, all after-school student related activities are cancelled for today,” it says.

There is a special notice just for TOSH, SIS, Athena, Miscouche, Greenfield, Elm Street, and Parkside schools only.
“In the event inclement weather forces a cancellation of the “End of Semester Administration / School Goals Day” scheduled for January 18, all activities scheduled for that day will take place the following day, Friday, January 19,” says the addendum.
“Should the “End of Semester Administration / School Goals Day” be postponed from January 18 to January 19, all students in the TOSH family of schools only, will have no classes on January 19.”
