Watermark theatre calling for play submissions

NORTH RUSTICO, P.E.I. – Watermark Theatre is calling for submissions for new non-musical plays from P.E.I. playwrights to be included in this season’s Play Reading Series.

Tentative dates for the readings are Aug. 4, Aug. 15 and Aug. 22 at 1:30 p.m. at the theatre in North Rustico.

Plays must be written by playwrights who currently reside in P.E.I., be unpublished and unproduced at the time of submission, be non-musicals, have a cast size of eight or less, have a running time between 60 and 120 minutes and be submitted in English, although portions of the play may be in another language.

Plays can be of any topic or genre the playwright chooses. Each playwright may submit no more than two scripts.
