The P.E.I. Mutual Festival of Small Halls, held in June each year, celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2018 but will do so under new leadership. Small Halls Inc., the arts organization dedicated to providing musical entertainment in P.E.I.’s rural community halls through the festival, recently announced the resignation of executive director, Jennifer Campbell.
Chad Stretch, chairman of Small Halls Board of Directors, said “Jennifer Campbell has done a magnificent job for the organization and on behalf of the entire board we wish her every success in her exciting new career opportunity.”
The board also announced that Cynthia MacLeod, well known musician and current artistic director of the festival, along with long-time festival manager, Debbie Atkinson, and controller, Margaret Clarkin, will be working together to ensure the success of the P.E.I. Mutual Festival of Small Halls’ 10th anniversary.
Stretch promises another stellar lineup of talent, featured in numerous community halls across the Island. This year’s festival will run from June 10 to 23.
Complete festival details will be posted soon at smallhalls.com.
