Two of Canada’s top singer-songwriters will take to the Harbourfront Theatre stage in early January.
Dave Gunning and James Keelaghan will produce an intimate night of award-winning music on Jan. 12, showcasing their artistic craftsmanship and musicianship individually and collaboratively.
After two decades in the industry, Gunning is still providing audiences with fresh and energetic folk music that covers a wide range of styles, tones and subject matter. The eight-time ECMA winner and two-time Canadian Folk Music Award recipient has been heralded as one of the country’s top musicians in his field.
Likewise, Keelaghan delights and inspires audiences with his original music that pushes boundaries and never allows stagnancy.
“I want my audiences to know that I am open enough to try new things and push their bounds,” said Keelaghan.
His songs feature the musical journey he has taken with his fans over the past 25 years.
Gunning and Keelaghan come to the Harbourfront Theatre in Summerside as part of the Atlantic Presenters Association and RADARTS’s Canada 150 performance series, supported by the Government of Canada.
Tickets are available at the Harbourfront box office and online at harbourfronttheatre.com.
The Journal Pioneer and Harbourfront Theatre recently gave away tickets to this Dave Gunning and James Keelaghan concert through the Journal Pioneer Christmas Tree 2017 Contest. The winners, Amy and Blain Buchanan of O’Leary, were the lucky winners of four tickets.
