First Chase the Ace draw this Saturday

O’LEARY

A Chase the Ace lottery partnership between the O’Leary Legion, Maple Leaf Curling Club and O’Leary Community Sports Centre has been renewed. The three organizations are each putting up $1,000, for a starting jackpot of $3,000. The jackpot grows each week until the Ace of Spades is turned. There will be a draw at the legion every Saturday night, 10 p.m., starting Dec. 2.

Stanley MacDonald, vice president of the curling club, said a previous partnership proved both popular and profitable for the three organizations and they are pleased to get the lottery going again.
A new list of rules has been drawn up and more volunteers from each organization will participate in the weekly draws.
