Culinary excellence and lively Acadian Music are on menu for Fall Flavours Festival’s Clammin’ ‘n Jammin’ event Sept. 22 at Village musical acadien in Abrams-Village.
Highlighting the “clammin’” part of the evening will be a clam-based culinary competition and an opportunity to sample fresh local seafood as well as such traditional Acadian dishes as râpure and pâté. Celebrity chef Alain Bossé, also known as the Kilted Chef will keep the crowd entertained during the dining portion of the evening.
The people of the Évangéline region are known for throwing a good party and that should be evident during the “jammin’” portion of the evening, with Louise Arsenault, Caroline Bernard, Patricia and Marcella Richard, and Rémi Arsenault dishing out their musical fare.
Tickets to Clammin and Jammin, which starts at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 22, are available online at www.fallflavours.ca, and can also be purchased in advance at Village musical acadien.
