ABRAM-VILLAGE, P.E.I. – Summer is here and so is the musical band Gadelle at the Village Musical Acadien. The Acadian band is playing in La Grange à Ti-Manuel in Abram-Village all summer for the fifth consecutive year.
Gadelle will be performing traditional Acadian tunes from their repertoire for the Village Musical Acadien’s visitors from Monday to Friday every week until the end of August.
The band is composed of four Acadian musicians from the Évangéline region, Louise Arsenault, Hélène Bergeron Arsenault, Caroline Bernard and Rémi Arsenault, who have been playing together for years. Gadelle has toured within Canada as well as in the United States and in France.
The four will be performing two sets every day, at 1:30 and 3 p.m. The shows are free, but guests can show their appreciation to the artists by making a donation.
Guests of the Village Musical Acadien can also enjoy the music outside on the patio with a typical Acadian meal and a signature cocktail from the resto-bar La Trappe on site.
