Fiddlers Sons with Wedge and Hogan perform Down East Sunday

Concert at St. Joachim's Parish Hall in Vernon River this Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.

VERNON RIVER – Award-winning Island music group Fiddlers' Sons will play a concert at St. Joachim's Parish Hall in Vernon River this Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.

As a celebration of St. Patrick's Day, the band will feature many popular Irish songs from their repertoire. They will also perform popular requests from the band's recent recordings that written by band members Eddy Quinn and John B. Webster. There will also be some lively instrumental selections played by the group's fiddler Courtney Hogan-Chandler and multi-instrumentalist Keelin Wedge.

St. Joachim's Parish Hall is located on Highway 3 in Vernon River beside St. Joachim's Catholic Church.

The March 11 show will include a 50-50 draw and canteen service. Admission is at the door.
