The “Mike and Tom” Malpeque and Stanley Bridge Ceilidhs are underway. Audience members have been heard commenting such things as, “This was the highlight of our vacation,” or “You know we travel to the Island just to enjoy these ceilidhs.”

“They leave the hall smiling recalling the jokes, songs, tunes and dancing they just experienced,” noted Mike Pendergast and Tom McSwiggan, who host the show.

For Tom and Mike, every ceilidh is a “happening” and “the whole evening surprises people who are coming to their first ceilidh,” they claim.

Tom and Mike have welcomed another Pendergast to the show, as Shane has come on board for the 2014 season. The young singer and guitarist, along with fiddler Nathan Condon and step-dancer Veronica Murray will be joining tom and Mike.

The Malpeque ceilidhs happen all summer on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. The Stanley Bridge Ceilidhs are on Thursdays all summer.
