SUMMERSIDE --Mathew Bodie fired a rebound over the left shoulder of Canada East goaltender Matt Ginn during a two-man power play to give Canada West a 1-0 lead in Friday night’s semifinal game at the 2009 World Junior ‘A’ Hockey Challenge.

Bodie’s goal came 54 seconds after Canada East was whistled for two separate tripping minors on the same play. Time of the goal was 8:11.

After Canada East recorded the first six shots of the period, the shots-on-goal totals are now even 6-6.
