Description:

NORTH TRYON — Mary Ford-Quigley took video of this phenomenon that she doesn't think is an alien UFO. But what is it? Weather? Aircraft? Something falling of a man-made object in outer space?

Jason from NS writes: Looks to me as if it is some sort of debris. Kinda odd how these people were told there were no other reportings.

Fred from P.E.I. writes: Later that evening the Coast Guard icebreaker the Sir. William Alexander docked in Charlottetown. The ship carries a helicopter on the aft deck. If the William Alexander approached Charlottetown from the west, I wonder would it have been in the strait near North Tryon at or near the time?

Patricia McFarland from Lee's Summit, MO USA, U.S.A. writes: Nobody up there ever seen a tornado? Well, that video captured one. It hovers higher up and then touches ground. You can see the dark clouds from whence it came. Then it begins dissipating. Tornadoes can move slowly, or move fast, change directions and do a deadly dance in the sky and/or on the ground. You don't want to be under one when when it touches ground. I'm from the Midwest in the USA and we get them every spring and fall. Horrid twisters! Over water, they're not quite as potent and form waterspouts.

ItsMe from Blue Springs, Missouri writes: That isn't a tornado, look how perfectly straight the spiral stays for 30 minutes straight.

That's directed energy from a satellite of some sort.

Deborah from Houston, Texas, USA writes: The long smooth cloudlike things in the background are UFO Cloudships.
The spiral thing I have seen, only more of a golden color and between cloudhips.
If there is water nearby, or a power plant, they may have been drawing on the energy.
If there was rain afterward, within a day or so, they were using the water.

simon from pe writes: This is obviously one of the many alien space crafts that have been visiting our fair island over the past 50 years or so. It seems to be using some sort of cloud cloaking devise (very common in the past 7 years). In any case I would advise the people of Tryon to keep a close eye on their daughters over the next weeks and months as alien insemination has likely already occurred.

Jute from Borden, PEI writes: I am from the Borden area and when I was about 17 years old during construction of the bridge I seen some strange things happen in the skys near the area, I reported them to Cst Dave Campbell of Borden-Carleton police at the time...strange..very strange!

Lawrence Fenwick from Brampton, ON, Canada, Ontario writes: As a former Co-Director of the Canadian UFO Research Network, Inc., in my 40 years of research into the subject, I have yet to see exactly the same sort of video or film of anything resembling this one. I hesitate in calling it a UFO. Unless one has flown to within a very close distance of the whatever , it is not possible to say that it is anything but a very odd moving trail of smoke. I have more tangible evidence of UFOs in my own residence, in fact several items which have undergone professional and university lab analysis, and have been declare non-terrestrial. One is 100 percent pure aluminum residue from an earth-made disc-shaped craft which crashed in a forest in California, having been originally based at Eglin AFB in Florida. This is according to an American military officer who sent me a sample of the fragments in the early1980's. I am also a former military journal assistant editor, living in Toronto at the time.

Philip Morrissette from Montreal, Quebec writes: RELAX PEOPLE!

This is a CONTRAIL from a high flying aircraft. WHY? First clue is the direction of the contrail...to the WEST away from the Quigleys who were facing WEST during the filming. Second clue is that most flight from Europe arrive in the evening and are headed WEST, thus the contrail is headed for the horizon, not falling to earth. Third clue is the sun setting in the west. Because the sun was already very low on the horizon, it was illuminating the top of the contrail only casting a large shadow on the underside. Since the Quigleys live near water, they could observe the contrail until it merged with the horizon. I've seen this before on the West Coast...spectacular for sure, but not otherworldly at all.

Smith Jeffrey from Saskatoon, SK writes: I suspect that this may be a nice video of a meteor whose orbit has crossed through a lower portion of the Earth's atmosphere. In the video the object burns and gives off smoke that appears black when compared to the lighter sky above that is still being illuminated by the setting sun. In this video the object appears to fly to ground, however I suspect that we are seeing the object flying roughly parallel to the Earth's surface and perspective makes the object appear to fly to ground.

Nice video of a rare event.

Zach from USA writes: Its something that they wanted us to see, to distract us while they poison us with aerosol planes that are spraying DU. Wake Up people, before it's too late. Do some research. Chemtrails, Cloudbusters, Cloud seeding, etc. Instead of wondering why all those plane contrails are NOT disapperaing like normal, wonder what you can do to help and fight this. Build a cloudbuster or chembuster. This has been going on for a long time...the movie is footage is obviously something low enough to create the black clouds, but appears to come from the upper atmosphere....Im bewildered about the whole thing, but Im still focusing on what I can do to help.

L. Roly from Belleville, Ontario writes: No doubt about it, this is very interesting. I don't know what it is but I do agree with the comment from Mr. Morrisette of Montreal, simply because I too have observed such images several times in the past. My conclusion was similar to what Mr. Morrisette has expressed. Still though...not knowing for sure what it really is, makes you wonder just what an alternative interpretation might be ?? J Hen from Charlottetown, PEI writes: Well lets see there highly educated fellow islanders. I wasnt Ameila Airheart, It wasnt a potato gun, it wasnt Lucy Maud, and it wasnt pat binns due to the fact that he is in the real ireland. But maybe just maybe if it wast santa claus, it could have been a plane. You see the military has a fleet of cp-130 hurcles heavy transport aircraft. You see the eath is not flat it has a cuveature and as a matter of fact two poles, as this plane which was most likely going to NFLD of doing circuits around the pei airports. was moving towards the horizon it looked as if it was bending but really as it got closer to the horizon it seemed like it was fallig towards earth at a very slow speed but on the contrary it was moving at about 210kts (thats knots for you tyne valley folk) to sum it all up.....big plane moves fast toward horizon big plane look like starwars ship, but its not. Anyway for those half intellignt people out there Im not condoning the study of extraterestial life, if just confused

Jimbo from NS writes: Ive seen funnel clouds in Borden-Carleton PEI before....but there's no supercell there, just cloudy.

Plus I dont think PEI has the ideal climate for a tornado anyway...they're probably just as rare as anywhere else in the maritimes.

This thing just consistently grows longer without dissipation and spiraling.

Mayby it was a smokey helicopter?

Do you think snowmobiling laws are tough enough?

No. The justice system needs to crack down on these guys.
The laws are fine the way they are, but they're not being enforced. We need more trail wardens.
Yes. It's only the one or two bad apples who get all the media attention.
