KENSINGTON, P.E.I. – Last week at KISH was very busy and was filled with lots of sports and meetings.

Monday, there was a Travel and Tourism (TNT) meeting for students heading to Quebec later in the week. After school our senior women’s and men’s basketball teams both defeated Kinkora, making our school very proud.

Tuesday, students had a successful prom committee meeting at lunch. A Late French Immersion Parent Meeting took place Tuesday evening, in the library. Meanwhile, the Junior Girls and Boys AA Basketball Teams challenged Athena.

Wednesday, our school’s junior boy’s A and AA basketball teams both played Athena. At lunch, there was a GSA Meeting and an executive Student Council meeting to discuss upcoming events. Also, free valentines were given out to students to give to others on Valentine's Day.

Thursday, Grade 12 students in the TNT program left for Quebec and will return Sunday. The junior girls’ and boys’ basketball teams played Summerside Intermediate School. Also, there was a Prom Committee meeting at lunch and a full Student Council meeting after school.

Friday, the junior girl’s basketball team played Athena as a make-up game. At lunch, there was a meeting for CSLC 2018 in Edmonton, Alta. Any Grade 10 or 11 students interested in going who couldn’t attend the meeting, talk to Mrs. Gallant.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week when we will be doing activities to show off our amazing teachers at KISH. There will also be no school Friday.
