Walking to promote right to life

The P.E.I. Right to Life (RTL) Association will be holding its annual March for Life on Sunday, May 27, from 2-4 p.m. The public is invited to join them at St. Pius X Church on St Peter’s Road, Charlottetown, as they walk to the Coles Building on Richmond St. Pat Wiedemer, executive director explains: “This year’s national theme is ‘All In.’ In light of the many changes our country has undergone which threaten the life of all, we ask that you come and be all in for a culture of life.” The P.E.I. RTL has an educational mandate to promote awareness of the dignity and value of every human life from fertilization to natural death. As part of this, Wiedemer says, “Our supporters will be holding 195 pink and blue balloons in honour of the children who were aborted on P.E.I. in 2017. We fail as a society when we accept the death of so many lives. Our association is pro-woman, pro-baby and above all pro-life.”
