After four successful years of owning the Summerside Inn Bed and Breakfast, Ken and Jenny Meister are close to a deal to sell their B&B to focus on their other property, Holman’s Ice Cream Parlour.

The historic Summerside Inn Bed and Breakfast building, built in 1891, was constructed for Patrick Fanning but became commonly known as the Campbell house when Alexander Campbell purchased it. It remained in the Campbell family, becaming home to two P.E.I. premiers, until the late 1970s, when it was sold and turned into a B&B. It has remained as such ever since, says Meister.

The Meisters are working on a tentative sale, just weeks after listing the property and hope to have everything wrapped up by the end of January.
