Fundraiser for victims of recent earthquakes in Mexico

 

The Rotary Mexican Fiesta, a fundraiser for the victims of recent earthquakes in Mexico, is Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Charlottetown Fire Hall in Charlottetown.

“Thousands of homes were destroyed, hundreds of people perished and essential infrastructures were severely damaged in the states of Oaxaca, Chiapas, Mexico, Morelos, Puebla and Mexico City,” says Patricia Diaz, organizer of the event and member of the World Community Services Committee of the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty.

A presentation starts at 7 p.m. and a Mexican Fiesta for ages 19 and over starts at 8 p.m.

Participants will experience authentic Mexican cuisine, Latin Music and a Mexican atmosphere.
