Presentation on climate change and greenhouse gases Thursday in Charlottetown

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The City of Charlottetown is presenting a Climate Change and Greenhouse Gases 101 Presentation on Thursday evening.

The Jan. 11 session will be held at Receiver Brass Shop, 178 Water St., Charlottetown, from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Note the change in time for this event.

Throughout the month of January, the capital city will be offering a number of initiatives and opportunities for public feedback on the greenhouse gas inventory, and ideas for the Community Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reduction plan.

This free introductory presentation will provide attendees with a further understanding of climate change and greenhouse gases. Attendees will be given the opportunity to ask questions on the topic and have them answered by an expert in the filed.

The presentation is offered by Stephanie Arnold, senior research assistant at the UPEI Climate Lab.

This event is open to all and light refreshments will be provided.
