Summerside studio bring home medals from national piano competitions

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – Students from the Flying Free Music Studio in Summerside recently brought home hardware from representing P.E.I. in the Conservatory of Canada National Piano Examinations.

Tori DesRoche, Theory II; Amani Taleb, Piano I; Ava Grace Boyle, Piano IV;

Brynn MacAusland, Theory I and Lindsay Stewart, Theory I and Piano V, all received gold medals, obtaining first-class honours.

In the new year, they will continue their musical studies in the Conservatory Canada Contemporary Idioms program, which includes studies in jazz, blues, swing, rock and other genres of music.
