Meeting in O'Leary to focus on animals during disasters

The Canadian Disaster Animal Response Team is holding an information meeting on rescuing and care of animals during disasters on Jan. 27.

The meeting begins at 4 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in O’Leary.

Participants will learn what to do with pets and domestic livestock when forced to evacuate during a natural disaster.

CDART is also looking to train volunteers to help during disasters in this area and across the Maritimes.
