It was the first day of school for kids across Prince Edward Island, including Grade 1 students at Athena Consolidate School in Summerside, where they packed up their toys and broke out the pencils and paper to learn about the alphabet, sentences and more on their first day of the 2018-2019 school year.

While learning about letters, Harrison Gallant asked his teacher Lorelei MacArthur, aka Mrs. M, how people know when one letter begins, and another letter ends.
