SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I.. – The new outdoor seating area at the Inspire Learning Centre is under construction and will soon be ready for use.

It is going to be a great spot to enjoy some outdoor reading or a picnic lunch. Daily TD Summer Reading Club programs continue this month until the closing party on Saturday, Aug. 19, at 11 a.m.

Our Baby and Toddler Time program for children ages 0 to 3 and caregivers continues every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Join us for rhymes, songs, and social time each week and cool off with our air conditioning.

The Needle Craft Club meets every second Thursday at 2 p.m. at the library with the next meeting on Aug. 24. Meet new people and socialize while you knit or crochet. Get advice, learn new techniques and see interesting, new projects you could try. Bring your own needle-craft paraphernalia.

We are partnering with the East Prince Seniors Initiative to offer more free computer classes. Join us on Thursday, Aug. 17, for a workshop and demonstration on Pinterest. Join us on Tuesday, Aug. 22, at 7 p.m. for a course on e-readers. Library staff will be showing you how to download books and audiobooks to your computer or other devices. The Drop In Computer Club will take place on Monday, Aug. 28, at 10 a.m. Drop by with your questions and get one-on-one help.
