The West Prince Chamber Chamber of Commerce still has room for more team entries in its second annual golf tournament. The four-person scramble event will be held at St. Felix Golf Course on Oct. 5, getting going with a 1 p.m. start.

The Chamber is accepting team entries online at westprincechamber.com or by contacting Tammy by phone or in person at the Rural Action Centre, (902)853-3616. There are also opportunities to sign up to be title sponsor or hole sponsor.

Several area businesses are already signed up to help sponsor and promote the chamber of Commerce fundraiser, with Tignish and Évangeline-Central Credit Unions each sponsoring hole-in-one prizes for chances at winning $5,000. Up West Fire Fries will be on site, Bloomfield Foodland will be providing store-made sausages and there will be opportunities to sample Moth Lane Brewing craft beer, Cascumpec Bay oysters and P.E.I. Juice Works wild lemonade. There will be O’Leary Building Centre washer toss, Tignish Co-op balloon-burst, Home Hardware plastic egg toss, and business finance trivia with Grant Thornton all for chances at winning prizes.

There will also be door prizes and a 50-50 draw.
