Camp Dynamo, a business networking event, is returning for its third year this weekend.

The 2018 installation of the event includes new presenters and activities along with the goal of helping 70 participants grow personally and professionally in an inspiring, focused, supportive and fun environment.

The business camp for women includes a balance of day-time workshops, hands-on activities, and knowledgeable presenters. There will also be evening activities such as speed networking, a campfire sing-along with Kelley Mooney, exercise and dance classes, as well as a painting workshop by East Coast Art Party. The theme for this year’s event is “Dynamic You.”

"Camp Dynamo is a hidden gem for Island business women – particularly non-members who often don't realize they're very welcome to join us. For two days, they'll unplug their social devices and focus on themselves as they envision future goals and strategies to achieve them. You don't need to be a business owner to benefit from Camp Dynamo,” said Margaret Magner, Executive Director of the P.E.I. Business Women’s Association.

This year there is a special focus on business women from across the Island.

“We’re embracing new voices, including recent newcomers to P.E.I. who are successfully establishing their business and members if our UPEI PEIBWA chapter who are telling us about changes facing the next generation.”

Camp Dynamo is open to PEIBWA members as well as non-members. The cost to attend as a Day Camper is $228 for PEIBWA members and $258 for non-members with other options for overnight stays. Registration for the event can be completed online at www.campdynamo.ca or by calling the PEIBWA office at (902) 892-6040.

The event runs from Sept. 28 to 30 at Dalvay by the Sea.
