Roles have changed on Callaghan Farms Inc. over the years.

Harris and Winston Callaghan still rely on their father, Walter, for advice and assistance, but, having taken over the farm operation from their father, it is usually they who ask their father to go get a tractor or run errands rather than the other way around.

During the P.E.I. Potato Blossom Festival’s farmers awards banquet the P.E.I. Potato Board presented Harris and Winston Callaghan with their industry’s Potato Producer of the Year Award

Under the guidance of their father and with the knowledge gained from him, the Callaghan brothers have expanded the family farm to an operation which now grows approximately 850 acres of potatoes and 600 acres of grain.
