TORONTO, Ont. - Alli Walker's dream job is now within reach.
The 19-year-old Summerside native found out Monday during the live broadcast of MuchOnDemand that she made it into the Top 4 in MuchMusic's VJ search.
Walker beat out thousands of hopefuls to make it into the contest. Once in the Top 8 she had to perform various tasks, including fundraising for a charity, completing two-minute videos on three entertainment pieces and doing video introductions or throws, to secure a spot in the Top 4.
During that time she amassed thousands of fans on her social networking sites.
Now, Walker and the remaining hopefuls must create MuchNews Minute segments that will air on Friday's edition of MuchOnDemand.
Next week she and the other contestants will appear daily on the show.
Then, on Dec. 4, live on MuchOnDemand, Walker finds out if she will become MuchMusic's next VJ.
