Storm going into playoffs on winning note

ROSEBANK – The first-place West Prince Storm is going into the Subway P.E.I. Under-17 Boys Soccer League playoffs on a winning note.

The Storm concluded the regular season with a 4-0 victory over the Summerside United on Thursday evening.

Jake Shea, Brolin Turner, Mackenzie Brennan and Logan Vandervelden scored for the Storm, who finished the regular season at 12-1-1 (won-lost-tied) in the eight-team league.

The Storm will host RC United in a quarter-final game on Tuesday. The sudden-death contest will be played at the Westisle Composite High School pitch beginning at 6 p.m.
