CHARLOTTETOWN – The Island Storm is offering students an opportunity to check out the National Basketball League of Canada at a price that is impossible to beat.
Anyone 18-and-under, or with a valid student ID, will be granted “free” admission to the Storm’s home game against the Moncton Miracles at Eastlink Centre on Thursday. The opening tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
"We know many Island students have parent-teacher interviews this week," said Storm co-owner Duncan Shaw. "With no school on Friday for many students, we thought it would be a great time for students to come out and celebrate their success."
The Storm currently sits atop the Atlantic Division at 2-0 (won-lost).
